Select the send and receive networks in the widget. Each must match the corresponding wallet or withdrawal platform. Availability can change and may differ between fixed and floating rates; the current quote determines whether your selection is supported.
Enter your amount to check the current rate, minimum, maximum (if any) and estimated receive amount. Compare what you receive, not just the headline rate. Your sending wallet may charge a separate network fee. Floating quotes can change; fixed quotes have an expiry and deposit conditions.
Save your order link. Send the requested asset and amount to the deposit address on the specified network, following the order deadline. A confirmed deposit still needs exchange processing and an outgoing transfer; completion time is not guaranteed.
Check the order status and your transaction in the network explorer. If the order expires, the amount is wrong or processing stalls, contact support with the order ID and transaction hash before sending more funds. Recovery or a refund depends on the case.
Contact exchange supportSwapping XLM to BTC is a way to convert a fast settlement asset into Bitcoin's established store-of-value status. XLM settles in seconds on its network, but moving the value to Bitcoin requires a separate confirmation on the Bitcoin blockchain, which takes longer. This route is common for users consolidating holdings or moving funds between platforms where Bitcoin is the primary holding.
Open the exchange widget and select XLM as the send currency and BTC as the receive currency. The widget shows the live rate and the minimum amount for this pair.
Enter the amount of XLM you want to exchange and choose a fixed or floating rate.
Paste your BTC wallet address into the recipient field and double-check it.
Create the order, save its link and send XLM to the deposit address using the network, amount and deadline shown. Receiving BTC requires deposit confirmation, exchange processing and the outgoing transfer.
Make sure your XLM is on the Stellar network and include the memo if your sending wallet requires one — Stellar addresses often need this extra identifier to route funds correctly. Your receiving address must be a valid Bitcoin address on the Bitcoin network. Confirm the address is correct before you submit, as Bitcoin confirmations cannot be reversed. Bitcoin transactions confirm slower than Stellar settlement, so allow time for the payment to arrive. Check the receiving address format and destination carefully; if you paste the address from an exchange or wallet, verify it matches what you intended to send to.
