stETH is Lido's liquid staking token representing staked ETH plus accrued rewards, and it trades on Ethereum at a close but not always identical ratio to ETH. Users commonly swap stETH when they want to exit a staking position without waiting for an unstaking period, or when they need a different asset for DeFi activity. Because stETH continuously rebalances balances to reflect staking rewards, the exact amount in your wallet can shift slightly day to day.
stETH moves exclusively on Ethereum, so make sure your receiving address is a valid ERC-20-compatible address — sending to an address on another network will result in loss of funds.
