Velodrome Finance (VELODROME) is the native token of the Velodrome automated market maker protocol, built exclusively on Optimism. Users typically swap VELODROME when entering or exiting positions in Optimism-based liquidity pools, or when rebalancing a DeFi portfolio that includes Optimism ecosystem assets. Because VELODROME exists only on Optimism, every swap involving it settles on that network.
