About Zest
Swaps without an account
Zest is a crypto-to-crypto exchange. You pick two coins, send a deposit, and receive the other coin at the wallet address you choose — no sign-up and no stored balance.
What Zest is
Zest is non-custodial: we never hold a balance for you. Each swap is a single order that runs from your deposit to the payout at the address you provide, and funds never sit in an account.
We route each swap through established liquidity partners to get a live rate, and we only exchange crypto for crypto — Zest does not buy or sell crypto for fiat money. Alongside the exchange, we build free tools such as gas trackers and a Bitcoin transaction accelerator.
How a swap works
- Choose the coins and networks you want to swap, then pick a fixed or floating rate. A fixed rate holds the quoted amount for 30 minutes; a floating rate settles at the market rate when your deposit confirms.
- Enter the wallet address that should receive the coins, plus a memo or destination tag if the network requires one.
- Send the deposit to the address shown on your order page. The page tracks each stage: awaiting deposit, confirming, exchanging, sending, and complete.
- Once the deposit has enough network confirmations, the swapped coins go to your address. If something goes wrong, the order page shows whether the order was refunded or needs support.
How our content is written
The Zest team writes and updates our blog, guides, and glossary. Every article shows the date it was published and, when it changes, the date it was last updated.
We write to explain how crypto swaps, wallets, and networks work, not to tell you what to buy. We don't publish price predictions or investment advice, and we correct errors when we find them.
