A fixed rate locks in the exact amount you'll receive for 30 minutes — what you see is what you get, regardless of market movement. A floating rate reflects the live market price at the moment your deposit is confirmed, which can be higher or lower than the initial quote.

Is there a minimum or maximum exchange amount?

Yes. Each coin pair has a minimum and maximum amount. The exact limits are shown in the exchange widget after you select a pair. Sending outside these bounds may result in a delayed or failed exchange.

Yes. Network fees are included in the quote or reflected before the order is created. Floating-rate swaps can still change slightly by the time the deposit is confirmed.

What happens when a fixed rate expires?

Fixed rates are guaranteed for 30 minutes from the time the order is created. If your deposit arrives after the rate expires, the exchange will proceed at the current floating market rate. You can see the countdown timer on your order page.

Are my funds safe?

Zest is fully non-custodial — we never hold your funds. The exchange happens directly wallet-to-wallet. Once your deposit is received, the output is sent straight to the recipient address you provided. We have no access to your assets at any point.

Does it matter which network I choose for a coin like USDT?

Yes — this is critical. Many coins exist on multiple networks (for example, USDT on Ethereum ERC-20, Tron TRC-20, and BNB Chain BEP-20). Always verify that the network you select in Zest matches the network you're sending from or the network your recipient address supports. Sending on the wrong network will result in lost funds.

What is a Memo, Destination Tag, or Extra ID?

Some networks (like XRP, XLM, and TON) require an additional identifier alongside the wallet address to credit deposits correctly. If a Memo or Destination Tag is shown in your order, you must include it when sending — omitting it may result in lost funds.

How do I track my order?

Every exchange generates a unique order ID. The order page tracks generic statuses such as awaiting deposit, confirming, exchanging, sending, complete, expired, failed, or refunded.

If your order gets stuck or you sent the wrong amount, contact our 24/7 support team with your order ID. We'll investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Refunds are processed back to a return address you provide.

If you send less than the minimum, the exchange cannot proceed. If you send more or less than the quoted amount on a floating-rate order, you will receive the converted equivalent of what you actually sent. For fixed-rate orders, sending outside the exact quoted amount may cause the exchange to fail or proceed at a floating rate. Contact support with your order ID in either case.

A refund address is where your funds are returned if an exchange cannot be completed — for example, if the order expires, fails, or you sent an unsupported amount.
